About Me

About Me

That started early—taking things apart, figuring out how they worked, and rebuilding them better.

Over time, that turned into a career in marketing and creative direction. But the work was never just about assets or campaigns. It became about something bigger—bringing clarity to complexity, turning scattered ideas into systems, and helping teams create work that actually performs.

How I think

I believe creativity isn’t decoration. It’s simplification.

The best work takes something complicated and makes it clear, useful, and human. Whether it’s a brand system, a website, or a campaign, the goal is the same: make it easier to understand, easier to use, and harder to ignore.

Over time, that mindset turned into something bigger than just making things—it became about building systems that help teams move faster, make better decisions, and create work that actually performs.

Here’s what that looks like in practice:

  • I bring structure to messy problems
  • I turn subjective ideas into clear direction
  • I focus on what matters—and cut what doesn’t
  • I build things people can actually use
  • I finish what I start

Good work doesn’t happen by accident. It happens when people are aligned, accountable, and moving forward together.

I think a lot about Leadership - Not the loud version. The real version.

The kind built on trust, accountability, and showing up for people.

Because at the end of the day, the work matters—
but the people matter more.

How I Work

I try to keep things simple.

  • I come prepared
  • I make decisions when things stall
  • I take responsibility when things don’t go right
  • I build relationships that make the work better

No drama. No overcomplication. Just forward motion.

Outside of Work

I’m based in Kansas City with my wife Jenny and our twins, Auggie and Alice.

Life outside of work matters just as much as the work itself.

You’ll usually find me:

  • Driving one of my vintage cars (Veronica or Betty)
  • Behind a camera chasing a photo that feels like something
  • Working on a home project I probably underestimated
  • Digging through records
  • Watching baseball
  • Or telling a truly terrible dad joke

I’m an introvert who learned how to be extroverted when it counts.

And I’ve learned that small moments—at work and at home—add up to a big life.

What I believe

  • It’s not what you say, it’s how you say it
  • Assume positive intent
  • Perfection is the enemy of progress
  • Making the complicated simple is creativity
  • Take responsibility—always
  • People are everything

And maybe most importantly:
Try to be a little better than you were yesterday.

I’ve spent my career building brands, systems, and experiences that connect.

I’m still learning.
Still refining.
Still building.

And still chasing the next thing worth making.
