Honestly, I haven’t been able to watch movies for a long time. Weird to say, but the endless action-hero flicks, yet another Star Wars spin-off, and half-hearted Pixar sequels have killed the magic for me.
That was true—until a few weeks ago. For some reason, I decided to throw on Jurassic Park. Alice wandered into the room, sat down next to me, and before I knew it we were both hooked. God bless those dinosaurs—because watching her get “into it” made me feel like I was experiencing it all over again for the first time.
From there, we fell down a rabbit hole and lined up a few classics:
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade Pirates of the Caribbean The Sandlot
And just like that, movies didn’t suck anymore.
Now the question is—where should we go next?
