This was one of the many foreign films my dad made me watch as a kid. I remember thinking that it didn’t have much to do with dogs.

Glad you liked it! I actually watched the first half of it the other day. I love the beginning. I guess I have to see the danish film you wrote about. Haven’t seen it.

I think that the danish film you are talking is actually belgian… If you mean Antonias Line… (you know americans and their perception of the world -European countries are all the same: forreign. =)) Doesn’t make much of a difference though cause it is still a WONDERFULL movie. One of my top five.
