Short trip to Salina to see the band play in a few days. It’s been too long since I have seen those bastards!

I have felt some new “uneasiness” at work lately… They are hiring a few new writers, so I am thinking that layoffs are not an option… but still, it is making my day-to-day life feel a little unstable.

This is the thing about blogs. Sometimes you really don’t want to write a damn thing in them… but when you look back and see that you fought through a spell of being unmotivated you feel really good about it… I am directly in the center of one of those phases.

The weather is finally starting to get non-crappy… Good sleeping with the chilly night air… On the way to work today I decided that anything over 73 degrees is too hot.

I need a win… Just in general. At something. Ever feel that way? Not like I am down or anything (God forbid that). I just need the excitement of working my ass off and feeling the rewards of success.

You know what I like? Yoplait “Light & Fluffy” Vanilla Creme yogart… I bought three different types at the store last week to eat for a morning snack… I tried the Coffee flavored version first day and almost threw up it as so terrible. To my surprise (and to test myself) I still ate the whole thing and tried to not make “that face” I get when I do not like the flavor of something… Next day was the Vanilla, which was really good actually, and today is the Chocolate (which I have had before and thought was pretty good).

I think that “Where The Wild Things Are” movie looks really good… I get goosebumps every time I see a preview.

Trying a new hair product that is supposed to give me more “volume”… I don’t feel like I have been talking any louder than usual.

I cussed out Freddy Kruger in my dream the other night… I think I hurt his feelings because he was kind of speechless… That character has scared the crap out of me since I was a kid. I have never really seen any of the movies (part of one when I spent the night at Jeremy’s house when I was like 10 years old or something).

Dream

My dream last night included my first car (Geo Spectrum), my little Toyota pickup truck (the Geo morphed into it), Gavin (for some reason he was my little brother) and me going to high school… I would give this dream 5 bananas.

Johnny’s has this KC strip sandwich that is AMAZING. They only have it from time-to-time, so it is like a blessing from God when it is available.

I know that I caused a bit of a ballyhoo a few months back with my review of Watchmen… Cap and I rented it on Bluray on Saturday night and I have to say that it was an amazing experience. The sound was knock-you-out-of-your-chair good, the picture was INCREDIBLE and after seeing it for a second time I actually started to understand a few of the things that were happening… Yes, there was too much raining, Batman did get ripped off, and the plot was a bit heavy, BUT after a second viewing I will say that Horshack is one of the best characters ever in film and the comic book style of this film visually is truly stunning.. I was VERY entertained. I wish that I would not have wasted my time going to the theatre on this one… This is the greatest Bluray EVER.

Been building a new animation at work…. Been pretty fun… Don;t ask me how it’s going, because “not much” or “some ol’, same ol’” will most likely be the answer.

Just an idea.

Let’s “Logan’s Run” all people still working from the Baby Boomer generation… Not kill them, just remove them from working on internet and email projects! … Do they know it’s not 1995 anymore???!!!
