I set up the office Sunday and ran the wire for cable last night… It was pretty awesome! I put the cable UNDER the carpet! … Howard would be SO proud!

Monday grab-bag
I live really close to a high school now and there are kids everywhere on their way to school… Today one of them was standing in my back parking lot smoking a cigarette… When I walked out of the building I could see his moment of panic and when I said “hey” instead of “get the hell out of here” he thanked me.
It made me feel just a little bit less old.

Am I the only person in the world that understood next to nothing that happened in that “Quantum of Solace” James Bond movie? … Don’t get me wrong, the action was really cool, but I could not really understand ANY of the plot points.
That Paul Rudd movie “Role Models” is pretty cute. I was smiling through most of it… Very charming film!

I assembled my desk and put my office together yesterday (along with a crap-pile of freelance work)… So pictures of my new place are on the way (if anybody gives a shit). I am really liking it so far… Looks pretty damn good.

Work update: The third (completely new) version of the same website (in less than a year) will be launching this week… I am thinking that they are going to want to stick with this one for a while (hopefully).
Our customers have to be so freaking confused! “Why do they keep changing this website and rearranging all of the content? This is driving me crazy!”
Hahahahahaha… Oh well, job security!

Needless to say, the baseball game was canceled this weekend from all of the snow… It will not be rescheduled.

What a weekend!
WOW! …. I am finally moved into my new place. I have a few little things to unpack and some stuff to hang on the walls, but all-and-all I am in and living… It is surprising how much better I feel by just moving out of that shit neighborhood!
It is so peaceful in the evenings at the new place. I actually slept deep enough to have a dream last night. No yelling people. No screaming engines. No helicopters. No sirens. No BULLSHIT! Sleeping through an entire night is a pretty great thing (people with kids enter your comments below).
I will post a few pictures sometime.

I want to send out a quick “Thank You” to Cap, Jam, Ry, Jeff, Em, Mag and Chloe-Bo for helping me move. I doubt that there is anyone out there that has better friends than me.
—————————–
Yesterday was so nice that Cap and I took an hour and went to the park to play some Frisbee golf. I had never played before and sucked pretty badly, but I had a really good time… I had no idea that it was so popular. There were people EVERYWHERE!

I have noticed that black people do not know who Seth Rogan is… They say, “you look like that guy from Knocked Up” instead of “You look like Seth Rogan”… Pretty interesting… I think Seth need to reach out to black America a bit more.

Ladies: When was the last time you gave HIM a back rub???

Old-timers baseball game in Salina this weekend… I have not been to the gym in a week. Have not thrown (or hit) a ball in almost a year… I am PRIMED to embarrass myself… Last year my arm got so tired that I could not even throw the ball back to the pitcher.
