Album of the Week

Elvis Presley’s “Sun Sessions”… I am not a big Elvis fan, but this is considered his best album by many of the critics and is my favorite from him. Check it out, I think you will like it.

I am actually starting to get excited for my birthday… While I was running this morning I could not help but get a little reflective on the last year of my life and all of the things that I thought I would be doing with myself when I was turning 31… Hahahaha… I FEEL like I am turning 25, so I am right on schedule :)

The new Batman movie is GREAT! Go see it… HellBoy 2 is really fun and visually AMAZING! Have a fun time at the theatre and go see it.

Positives:
- Fountain drinks
- Clean
- Friendly service
- Quiet
- Freshly cut meat in front of you
- No automatic pickle (YES)
- Fries are hot & fresh, flakey and good
- 2 different sauces
- Smokey flavor
- Nice location
- Lots of sun

Negatives:
- Not amazing sauce flavor
- Meat is a little dry
- Meat cut too thick
- A lot of fat on meat
- Smaller portions
- Pricey
- TV’s in dining area
- Feels like a chain in dining area
- Cow print fabric in dining area

Would I recommend it?:
Neutral

BBQ

This dude (Jeff) at work had a GREAT idea to have a summer BBQ tour of all of the best places in town. The idea is that we draw a name out of a hat each week and eat there on Thursday for lunch… Steve and I decided to keep notebooks chronicling the tour with all of our notes and ratings.

Here is what I wrote today:

Beef on bun, side of fries and a root beer

Total:

Positives:
- Low stress ordering process
- Outdoor padio
- Live one man band
- Clean and friendly employees

Negatives:
- Small indoor space
- Bottled drinks with no free refills
- Semi-freaky neighborhood
- Pickles on my plate automatically
- No bbq sauce, salt and pepper, napkins, silverware, ketchup on table
- Small sandwich
- Average fries (nothing special)
- Dry meat
- Dry bun
- Hardly any sauce on sandwich

Would I recommend it?:
NO
