JELLO

by Joe

Wicket and I bought some fat free cherry JELLO at Publix last night. I am really excited to incorporate it into my daily lunching ritual. The texture of this magical food is GREAT.

- Sandwich (or other main course)
- Chips or pretzels
- JELLO*
- Pudding

I can eat the same thing for lunch everyday and it does not affect my morale. It’s a gift.

My cat has rewarded us for coming home by throwing up all over the house.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to “Em” (USA version). I hope your daughters take you to “the jungle” for a merry time.

Waterfallin’

by Joe

I saw a waterfall, a white squirrel, and my Dad spray 4 gallons of lighter fluid on an already flaming camp fire. Great trip so far. One million pictures to come…

Tarheel

The frisbee and poker chips are ready for some S.C. fun.

Pix and maybe a short video on Sunday or Monday.

Is it sad that the monotany of working the exact same schedule everyday drives me nuts?

It seems that the next vacation is the thing that keeps me going. I love what I do, but I think that I hate doing it for someone else (a company). Self-employment is on the way ASAP.

Wood for Woody

by Joe

I have driven the Jeep to work the last couple of days… Man, I feel like an absolute BADASS when I am behind the wheel of that beast. I know, simply driving a large(r) vehicle should not give me any more satisfaction that driving my tiny little Honda Civic… I guess that I am a bad person.

If I had 20,000,000 dollars, part of that money would go into converting my Jeep woody into a hybrid. This way, I could drive it (semi) guilt free…

The other part would buy the rest of the GI Joe guys for my collection… 78 could have the remainder.

—————

I am all geared up for the trip. I have this vision of what it is going to be in my head and I hope that a small percentage of it comes true… as long as I get to make a fire of some kind, see the full range of stars at least once, and see that my parents are okay, I will be happy.

I think that I may have found a new nickname for 78… “Wicket”. That’s right, the cute little Ewok from Star Wars. It just came into my head this morning when I saw her get out of bed.

Have I ever said how genius I am at giving nicknames?
