Vote Tomorrow (6 a.m. – 7 p.m.)

Vote Tomorrow (6 a.m. – 7 p.m.)

I woke up today and saw this beautiful reminder on my phone. “Tomorrow: Election Day”… I thought the day would never come. It has flown by and taken forever at the same time.

Please vote… please vote for Barack.

—————————–

I was searching around the web for a PDF map of the Electoral College that I could download and print-out for the party tomorrow night… I thought that it might be fun to color in the states as they are won and have a little election board in my apartment.

Anyway, I could not find one, so I made THIS ONE.

—————————–

I got my flu shot today at work… I was very surprised that there were so many people who declined it (they were free)… Shit, in the American health care system there are not too many things that are free. I feel like you should take advantage when they offer you something preventative that is free.

—————————–

They laid off a bunch of people today at work today… I think this is the first time in the history of man-kind that I was not part of a big lay-off. I guess I was just assuming that I would be one of the people who would be asked to leave. It is kind of second nature for me to hear the “it’s not your work, we have to meet a budget” speech.

Anyway, I am glad I still have a job.
