I like the “soft acoustic guitar” entry. Here are mine:

    1. piano
    2. dirty electric guitar (solo)
    3. b-3 organ
    4. wurlitzer
    5. drum set
    6. electric bass
    7. marimba
    8. upright bass
    9. pedal steel guitar
    10. mandolin

Blue Merle is a kick ass band. Check them out if you haven’t. Thanks to N8 Dawg Tysen for that one.

Hank — 2 brass instruments in your top ten… Nice. Love the Accordion too.

Ry — “dirty electric guitar (solo)”… Sweet.

yeah… We went to a brass concert the other day. The youth Big Band of Gävle. They rocked big time and the power of that kind of music really “blows” you away…

i can’t believe that no one mentioned the instrument that we all learned how to play in the second grade. The recorder never gets any lovin.
