I have been thinking about going to the Grand Canyon alot lately… I would like to hike to the bottom Fred Stiers style and cook some baked beans over an open flame.

Ha… doing things Fred Stiers style rules! 12 miles down, 9 miles up. On the way up if you do Bright Angel trail, hike up to the mid way point in the early morning, then wait till early afternoon to plow up the switchbacks, that’s when the clouds roll in. Good times.
This coming weekend/next week his itenerary: London, Moscow, Germany, England, Paris – in 6 days.
