Golden Compass?
Anybody else want to see this Golden Compass movie? I think I do… I have not been to a movie in soooooooo long.

I’m definitely going to see The Golden Compass!
The book is AMAZING. One of my favs. Iork is possibly one of the coolest characters ever, he and Lee Scorsby (Sam Elliot) are great. Perfect casting on Scorsby. I heard they toned down some of the story as to not offend the idiotic religious right, but should still be a badass movie.
The line in the promo where Iork goes “I have a contract with the child.” Chills, I mean who doesn’t want an armored freak’n bear as a hired bodyguard. Second probably to Chewbacca as altime badass sidekick.
