Fantastic Friday

Fantastic Friday

I am slowly adjusting to the time change. I feel like this is a sneak preview of getting old… I am exhausted by 11:00 pm and wake up around 7:00 am.

Going to the great country of Sweden has made me extremely reflective on my life. I find myself spacing out and thinking about things that I have not thought of in years… It feels great.

I hope that you are ready to hear about Sweden, because I am not thinking that I am going to get over it any time soon.

Today has rocked. After eating a giant Calzone from one of my favorite Chicago restaurants (Pockets), Ryan, Lance and I watched the Cubs game and drank a couple (give or take) beers. Midway through the game we started playing some poker… As promised to Lance and Ry, here is a picture of my poker stack at the beginning of the game.

Here is a picture of my chips after I won.

P.S. – This is not gloating because there was no money or any other prize involved (okay, maybe a bit of gloating). Needless to say, that If there was an actual prize, I would have folded like a cheap suit. Why can’t I win when there is something to win?
