I saw The Golden Compass on Friday… It was GREAT!

I wish I were a polar bear with armor! That would be cool… RAD even.

Oh yeah, the poster for that movie is terrible. It does not convey anything about the film and does not feature the main character (she is on it but is VERY small)… WTF!

So I got a few AMAZING records last week. “Bryter Layter” from Nick Drake, “Bitches Brew” from Miles Davis and “The Sun Sessions” from Elvis… Very excited!

My folks are back in the town… Good to have them back.

My Dad has got some Wii skillz.

I climbed into my sleeping bag, watched Rudolph and slept away the afternoon… No better way to spend an afternoon on an icy day.

I have never seen the Nutcracker. Maybe next Christmas…

A Christmas Carol. LOVE IT! I watched the original tonight.

The Merrimack Owls are the champions of the “Holiday Baseball Classic”. They defeated the McCall Mudhens in the championship game by the score of 15-7. Mickey Mantle was the tourney MVP as the Owls went undefeated.

The tough-luck losers of two close games, the Boggstown Boilers were edged out by the Mudhens and narrowly missed a shot at the title in their first tourney ever.

Whenever you win a tourney, you get to make a new uniform… Here is the Owls new holiday digs.

Kudos to the Owls. Ducky and the boys are itching to get into a tourny. We saw The Golden Compas too, it was really good. Iorek is amazing, the ice bear battle is wicked sweet.

Have you read the books? The ending of the movie shocked Misty and I a bit, as far as when they decided to end it. Much crazier cliffhanger in the book.
