I am not going to claim to know much of anything about Maria Callas, but I have done a reasonable amount of research on her life, and have downloaded several songs…

This image is one of my favorite photographs ever taken. A large version hangs in my front room… I find myself starring at it from time to time. Her eyes are so expressive, soft and personal. I love her eyebrows, skin tone and the contrast in texture between the two… I like to squint at it so that I can only see the dark areas.

My brother got some free tickets to the Chiefs season opener at Arrowhead Stadium tomorrow and has asked me to go. I have never been to a pro football game, so I am pretty excited to get the chance to reconnect with my masculinity… So count on some sweet, macho football guy pictures in the future.

I am so into listening to vinyl these days… There is this great store just down the street that sells them dirt cheap… I bought 2 James Taylor classics, Paul Simon’s Graceland, Star Wars Soundtrack, Air Supply’s greatest hits, Bruce Hornsby, the Beatles Concherto, a piano jazz album, and Abba’s greatest hits for 50 cents each… AWESOME.

My favorite album to listen to on vinyl is “Sargent Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” by the Beatles.
